Data Verification

Data verification is the process of checking the accuracy and discrepancies of different types of data after data transfer. This helps determine whether the data was translated accurately when moving from one source to another, if it is complete, and supports the processes of the new system. During inspection, it may be necessary to operate the two systems in parallel to identify areas of disparity and to avoid loss of false data. The type of data validation is double data entry and correction. Data correction means that someone verifies the entered data against the original document. It is time consuming and expensive too.
